Free Audio Guide and Walking Tours
While the houses remain closed due to the pandemic, the grounds of the Ipswich Museum are open to visitors everyday. You may now take a free audio tour by downloading the PocketSights app to your device and turning on location services, or searching “Ipswich Museum.” While on site you can add comments or upload your own photos to the tour. You can also tour remotely from the comfort of your home with the virtual features.

Historic Properties
The Ipswich Museum oversees three historical homes: The Whipple House (1677), The Heard House (1795-1800), and the Alexander Knight House. We offer guided tours on a seasonal basis.
