Opening reception Friday May 31, 2024 from 6-8pm. The exhibition will be open for viewing during public tour hours Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm and Sundays 1pm-4pm.
Sherwood is an Ipswich-based artist whose works are held by numerous public and private collections and have been featured in solo exhibitions at the Currier Museum, Saint Gauden’s National Historic Site, and the Rose Kennedy Greenway among others.

Join us at the Ipswich Museum to celebrate the life, art, and influence of Ipswich artist Arthur Wesley Dow on the 100th anniversary of his death. This special exhibit will showcase expamples of Dow’s paintings, wood block prints, cyanotypes, personal items, and photographs of his students at work.
