As the first published poet from the New World, Bradstreet establishes a new “plaine style” of writing and was the first to articulate a new “American” identity for the British colonists.
Charlotte is an award-winning author whose work has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post, among other publications. She is a distinguished professor of the Humanities at Endicott College. She speaks frequently at colleges and conferences, and has been interviewed on numerous radio and television programs.
