Bag Lunch Series – Ipswich Lace Makers

Susan Landy, textile specialist will talk about the history of Ipswich lace as a cottage industry. George Washington himself visited Ipswich in 1789 to support this craft.  Susan will show examples of tools and lace from the collection.  She will also do a demonstration.
