Education
Whether you are teaching about early colonial life, the American Revolution, the history of indigenous people, 19th– 20th century art, or anything in between, the Ipswich Museum can help enrich your lessons and excite your students. Utilizing hands-on, place- and object-based learning we can work with your curricular goals to customize a museum visit, in-class presentation, or remote-learning project. Our programs are designed to work with different age groups, across disciplines, and reflect the current standards of the DESE curriculum frameworks. Our programs are also rooted in the culture, history and geography of Ipswich and the greater Boston and North Shore area, but integrate broader themes and issues that connect the region to the world beyond its boundaries.
